When it comes to cleaning your rugs, the best practice is to vacuum regularly and pay a visit to your local professional cleaner every one-three years. With our new machine washable rugs, you can now clean your rugs at home. Our cotton machine washable rugs are handmade and can be washed at home in a conventional washing machine.

Light and easy to clean, they’re available in a wide variety of patterns and colours. They’re a great option for the kitchen, front entrance, mud room and just about any space with small children.

When you feel like the rug needs a good cleaning, just throw in the wash on a gentle cycle at no more than 30 degrees. Make sure to wash it separately from other items and to not use any bleach.

For drying, you can tumble dry at a low temperature. If you notice any loose threads after washing and drying, use scissors for cutting. The rugs are very soft and flexible, making them easy to handle before and after washing.

With small sizes  starting from $50 and large available for $150, these washable rugs are available at a price point comparable to those of machine made rugs. However, these are handmade from natural materials and can be cleaned in your conventional washing machine. They’re a very suitable choice for an entryway, kitchen or children’s play area.

Next time you’re in the market for an inexpensive area rug that’s also easy to care for, make sure to check out our new collection of machine washable rugs.
